Located in the heart
of Santa Ana’s Artists’ Village, the Grand Central Theatre offers minimally produced, bare-bones theatre focusing on
the words and providing audiences with an “in-your-face”
experience. The 70-seat theater offers plays produced and
written by CSUF students as well as productions like the
12’ x 16” Dance Project, 10-minute plays, the New Works
Reading Project and the annual BFA cabarets.

Walk along the Planet Walk between McCarthy Hall and the Science Laboratory Center. A photographic image of each planet is positioned in the exact proportion to its placement in the solar system.

Do Like the Lizards Do On Zzyzx Road
The Desert
Studies Center, which is operated by the California
State University, is located on the shore of Soda Dry Lake
between Barstow and Baker on Zzyzx Road. The center
offers Extended Education classes to the public (for a fee)
as well as exposure to the plants and animals that make
the California desert their home.
