CommencementCommencement was voted the most popular event attended of 31 events, with Communications Week second and Greek Week trailing in third place. Other stellar events mentioned included Concert Under the Stars, All Night Study, Job Fair, gymnastic meets, Front & Center with Colin Powell, and Front & Center with Tony Bennett.

Favorite Activities

Of 38 different extracurricular activities named in the survey, Titans chose intramural sports as the most popular pastime, followed by the Daily Titan and Phi Kapp Tau fraternity. Pastimes included various Greek organizations, the Ski Club, Associated Students, the CSUF Dance Team, and many other student clubs and organizations.

Favorite Classes

Students have varied interests and eclectic tastes, as shown by their selection of the most interesting class. Just four classes had multiple votes, but 46 different courses were mentioned as the most interesting class students had ever taken, and the courses spanned all disciplines. The courses with the most votes was Pscyhology 312: Psychology of Human Sexual Behavior. Second was Criminal Justice 310B: Criminal Law: Procedures. Third was Music 307: History of Rock Music, which tied with Theatre 160: Acting for Non-Majors. Titans named favorite courses as different as interviewing and ceramics, Geography of the South Pacific and Shakespeare, Greek mythology and cardio kickboxing.

Best Excuse to Skip Class

parkingNo surprise here: Parking is the best excuse to skip class, followed by running out of gas and having a hangover. Becoming the victim of a medical experiment was chosen by a slim few.
